Our product is natural stone. Since we have 18 colors, we have also 16 different characters. Characters vary between high density Dolomite, Limestone and Marble. Please refer to Stone Gallery.

Our Split Face and Ledge Stone finish can be used only on vertical surfaces. Our Bush hammer, Mosaic, Honed and Polished finishes can be used on vertical as well as horizontal surfaces. Please refer to Picture Gallery.

Because our stone is natural, please allow more variation in colors than described above. Please refer to Stone Gallery for a closer look of the stone. 9. HOW MUCH COLOR VARIANCE IN NSV PRODUCT? The natural variation of colors within one color makes our stone special. Our product is a natural stone, which can have a color variance up to 40%. To achieve the best results, your installer should always examine the entire purchased shipment and understand the color variance to be able to install and even mixture. Please refer to Picture Gallery. 10. HOW ARE NSV PRICES COMPARED TO OTHER PRODUCTS? We prepare and gage our stone in our factory to make installation easy. For example, our Ledge Stone 2” pieces x random comes pre-installed on a sheet of mesh 12”x 24” interlocking together. Our Mosaic comes also on a sheet of mesh. How hard would it be for an installer to grab a sheet of two square feet and apply it on the wall? Our Split Face and Bush hammer are gagged and cut to size. PACKAGING? NSV stone is shipped in crates that are cushioned with Styrofoam. 3. HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY SHIPMENT AFTER PLACING MY ORDER? We stock over 250 000 Square feet of various colors and finishes in our warehouse. After placing your order, time will depend on stock availability, your geographic location and the shipper (approximately 2 weeks). For custom orders, you need to place your order ASAP to allow 2 to 3 months delivery time.
We ship all over the United States & Mexico using our shipper or your own. If you buy a full container straight from the factory, the shipping will be free and all you’ll pay for is the material. If shipment is less than a full container, shipping costs will apply depending on the quantity you’re ordering. A full container has a minimum of 5500 sq. feet depending on the type of finish. You can also mix and match colors as well as finishes. Installation & Maintenance1. HOW IS THE PRODUCT INSTALLED? Our stone is installed just like tile using thinset and cut with a wet saw. It can be installed on exterior stucco surfaces, cement boards and masonry block. Installation on interior surfaces can be the same as exterior or on surfaces like drywall or plywood. Make sure substraight is attached properly to the structure prior of installation and read instructions on used thinset to insure adherence onto substraight. 2. DOES NSV STONE NEED TO BE MECHANICALLY ATTACHED? NSV stone has been engineered to be installed on an existing foundation without major preparation to the structure, which would make NSV stone one of the lightest natural split face stone. Therefore, it could be installed with thinset and you can go for higher elevations. For Ledge Stone at 8 lbs/Sq.ft you can go up to 40 feet high without mechanical attachment. For 6” Split Face at 6 lbs/Sq.ft you can go up to 50 feet high without mechanical attachment. For 8” Split Face at 8 lbs/Sq.ft you can go up to 40 feet high without mechanical attachment. For 10” Split Face at 10 lbs/Sq.ft you can go up to 32 feet high without mechanical attachment. For 12” Split Face at 12 lbs/Sq.ft you can go up to 26 feet high without mechanical attachment. 3. AFTER CUTTING A SPLIT FACE PIECE, HOW DOES INSTALLER CHISEL IT TO A FACTORY EDGE THICKNESS? Place stone on a flat clean surface. Using a pointy flat chisel installer has to chisel back in 1/8” increments to achieve straight edge. Or place stone in hand and using a masonry hammer or troul breaking back the face of the stone in 1/8” increments. The second method does not give you a straight edge. 4. HOW DO WE FINISH EXPOSED EDGE? If exposed edge is on a corner, please miter the corner. Please refer to Arch. Details. If exposed edge is on the top, use our bull nose cap for finishing. Please refer to Picture Gallery. 5. DOES NSV STONE NEED GROUTING? Grouting will depend on the customer’s taste and the look you’re trying to achieve. Our product can be butt join with no grout line. You decide! Sometimes grouting is used in a freezing climate to prevent the water to go behind the stone. 6. DO YOU HAVE TO SEAL NSV STONE? Sealing the stone is not necessary. However, it can be added as extra protection especially for the grout lines or to prevent damage if exposed to water regularly. Two sealants can be used – deep sealer and surface sealer. The deep sealer will not change the natural look of the stone. The surface sealer will enhance the colors of the stone and can add either a glossy or a matt finish. Wet a sample with water and this will illustrate the color after surface sealing. 7. HOW DO I MAINTAIN NSV STONE? Our stone is virtually maintenance free. You can sand blast it or pressure-wash it depending on the depth of the stain. All above figures can be changed depending on your jurisdictions and construction code enforcement.
