What we do ?
We manufacture real natural stone, and fabricate it to be thin veneer for commercial building, landscape, park, public facilities, and for residential exteriors, interiors, home improvement, pools, and more.
We offer 10 different finishes of our thin stone veneer, along with 18 different colors. Since our stone is natural, we cannot guarantee exact colors of nature’s art, please allow for variations in the colors (up to 40%).
Five of our finishes (split face, ledge stone, tuscan ashlar, stacked stone and biscotti) are limited to vertical surfaces. However, our bush hammer, mosaic, and polished/honed finishes can be used on both vertical and horizontal surfaces.
We offer a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser. Our natural stone veneer products can stand any extreme weathers.
- Easy installation– similar to tile installation, our product can easily be installed over stucco, drywall, backer board or masonry block using only thinset.
- Thinner material– most of our pieces are ½ inch thick or less, allowing them to be used in more interior or exterior applications, including applications you may not have thought possible!
- Durable– even though it’s thin, the stone is a dense dolomite limestone which will allow it to hold up to any type of weather.
- NO minimum orders– regardless of project size, we can fulfill your order!
- FREE Samples– any item in stock is available to you as a sample. We only charge for shipping, which is $29.95 and refundable at time of purchase.

HOW IS YOUR PRODUCT PACKAGED FOR DELIVERY?
Our product is shipped in crates cushioned with Styrofoam.
HOW DO WE FINISH EXPOSED EDGE?
Our product can be finished in a number of ways. The installer can chisel off 1/8″ of the exposed edge to achieve the finished look. A customer might also want to use our stone accessories to give it that finished look. We offer a polished/honed split edge finish, a pony wall cap, a bush hammered pool coping or a wainscot cap.
DO YOU HAVE TO SEAL IT?
Sealant is not necessary for our stone. However, it can be added as extra protection especially for the grouted lines if grout was used. Two sealants can be used – Deep sealer and surface sealer. Deep sealer will not change the natural look of the stone. Surface sealer will enhance the colors of the stone and can add either a glossy or a matt finish. Wet a sample with water and this will illustrate the color after surface sealing. Sealant is very easy to apply.
WHAT IS THE WEIGHT OF THE STONE?
It depends on the finish and amount required. For example, our split face stone is 8½ pounds per square foot including the pallet weight. So if you order a large pallet of 142 square feet, the weight is 1,207 pounds. A small pallet is 48 square feet and weighs 480 pounds. For an extra-large project, it is best to order a full container direct from the factory. The container will contain approximately 5,500 square feet and weighs 46,750 pounds. Please call Natural Stone Veneer for your desired amount for weight estimations.
DOES THE STONE NEED TO BE MECHANICALLY ATTACHED?
Our stone is natural thin veneer and can be adhered to the walls directly. Generally, you can build up to 40 feet before mechanical attachment is necessary. It is always best to contact your city building department for any code restrictions and a structural engineer to ensure it is safely applied to your surface.
DOES IT NEED GROUTING?
Grouting is up to the desires of the customer. It is not required for most of our product. Our product is cut with nominal size differences and can be butt jointed together without a grout. If spacing is desired, it is recommended to use the correct grout, either sanded or unsanded grout depending on the spaces created when joining or stacking the stone. .
HOW IS THE PRODUCT INSTALLED?
Our stone can usually be installed just like tile, depending on the surface. Our product may be installed on exterior surfaces like cement, cement board, diamond mesh with scratch coat and masonry surfaces using thin-set or mortar mix. Additives can be added to the thin set to make it stronger for exterior use. Installation on interior surfaces can be the same as exterior surfaces or on surfaces like drywall or plywood using thin-set. (We recommend using the white thin-set; always refer to instruction received with the thin-set or mortar mix product.)
WHAT IS THE OVERALL THICKNESS OF THE STONE?
Our stone thickness varies on finish and cut. Generally, you can expect a stone to be no less than 3/8 inch at its thinnest but can be much thicker depending on the cut.
CAN YOUR STONE BE USED IN EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS?
Our stone is made of dolomitic limestone. The dolomite found in the stone makes it more dense and therefore more rugged. All of our stone has been tested by Mother Nature in all sorts of conditions to include freezing, thawing, heat etc. Our stone can be submerged in water as well. Because of the density of our stone, we can cut it thinner than manufactured stone saving on the weight of the shipment.

HOW DO I MAINTAIN THE STONE?
Our stone is virtually maintenance free. Generally, you can wash or pressure-wash the stone. To remove graffiti from our stone, you can either sand blast or acid wash it. Your stone will not change colors with any of these washes because it is all natural. The above suggestions apply generally to all of our products. The condition of the surfaces where you intend to install our product, your weather and other factors beyond our knowledge and control may also factor in to maintaining your stone for life long beauty. We recommend you consult your local professionals for any questions you might have.
We appreciate your interest in our product. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Our stone is installed just like tile using thinset and cutting with a wet saw. It can be installed on exterior stucco surfaces, cement boards and masonry block or interior surfaces like painted drywall. Please make sure substraight is attached properly to the structure prior of installation and all instructions on using thinset have been read. It is also recommended that you check your local construction code for applicable installation information.
To achieve the best results, your installer should always examine the entire shipment that was purchased to obtain a comprehensive view of the full range of color variance. The installer will then be prepared to work to ensure an even mixture that can be enjoyed for a lifetime.
Our natural stone veneer has been engineered to be installed on an existing foundation without major preparation to the structure. Therefore, it could be installed with thinset and you can go for higher elevations.
- For Ledge Stone at 8 lbs/Sq.ft you can go up to 40 feet high without mechanical attachment.
- For 6” Split Face at 6 lbs/Sq.ft you can go up to 50 feet high without mechanical attachment.
- For 8” Split Face at 8 lbs/Sq.ft you can go up to 40 feet high without mechanical attachment.
- For 10” Split Face at 10 lbs/Sq.ft you can go up to 32 feet high without mechanical attachment.
- For 12” Split Face at 12 lbs/Sq.ft you can go up to 26 feet high without mechanical attachment.
Again, it is best to to check your local construction code for applicable installation information.
After cutting a split face piece, an installer can chisel it to factory edge thickness. Simply place the stone on a flat clean surface. Using a pointy flat chisel, chisel back in 1/8” increments to achieve straight edge. You can also use a masonry hammer to break the face of the stone in 1/8” increments. This method will not give you a straight edge.
Grouting will depend on the customer’s style and the look you’re trying to achieve. Our product can be butt joined without a grout line. However, sometimes grouting is used in freezing climates to prevent the water to go behind the stone.
Sealing the stone is not necessary. However, it can be added as extra protection especially for the grout lines or to prevent damage if exposed to water regularly. Two sealants can be used – deep sealer and surface sealer. The deep sealer will not change the natural look of the stone. The surface sealer will enhance the colors of the stone and can add either a glossy or a matte finish. Wet a sample with water and this will illustrate the color after surface sealing.
All above figures can be changed depending on your jurisdictions and construction code enforcement. Check with your local structural engineer for all the specifics on your project.
